Absinthe:
The reason we chose the character name Absinthe is because it is a highly intoxicating alcohol. This links to the personality of the character because she is evil and highly dangerous towards the male protagonist. The reason we used a female antagonist was in order to show role reversals and break typical stereotypes. Absinthe was dressed in a smart outfit in order to portray to the audience that she is a business woman who is cunning and intelligent.
Quinn:
Quinn's name connotes innocence as his name is one which is associated with this word. We had done this in order to show an obvious definition between the antagonist and the protagonist. Where Quinn would be tied down to the chair and would be unable to defend himself, he is portrayed to the audience as innocent. We had decided that he would wear dull coloured clothing as this would imply that he is lifeless and fatigued.
